OUR MISSION AS A CHURCH IS TO SPREAD THE GLORY OF GOD BY MULTIPLYING DISCIPLES* AND MULTIPLYING CHURCHES BOTH HERE AND AROUND THE WORLD.

At VerticalLife we take this mission very seriously.  We believe it's important to spread the name of Christ in every corner of the globe beginning at home, in Newton, NC.

Multiplying churches means that as a body of believers, we take seriously the Great Commission of going out and making disciples in all the world and baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Eradicating lostness, relieving the suffering of the broken, hurting and dying takes action. Taking action and living out the gospel means being the hands and feet of Christ as we reach out and share the Good News of Jesus Christ in a way that brings transformation, healing, and flourishing to the body of Christ as a whole.

Our Local Missions reach includes all missional activity in our home region of Catawba County, specifically Newton, NC and surrounding areas.

National missions

Our National Missions reach includes not only state wide missions outside our local region, but all points within the United States.

International Missions

Our International Missions reach out to the outermost parts of the earth.

WNC Recovery Information

Hurricane Helene left a trail of devastation across WNC communities, severely impacting families and individuals in its path. The destruction was overwhelming, families are still recovering even today.

Many in our VerticalLife Church family had the opportunity to serve saw the devastation first hand. We have also seen how the Lord showed up in a mighty way and is even today, working in the lives of individuals in these areas.
