Hurricane Helene left a trail of devastation across WNC communities, severely impacting families and individuals in its path. The destruction was overwhelming, families are still recovering even today.

Many in our VerticalLife Church family had the opportunity to serve saw the devastation first hand. We have also seen how the Lord showed up in a mighty way and is even today, working in the lives of individuals in these areas.
There is still work to be done to help families rebuild their lives. We can all do something to help.
As a church, we "adopted" an area in Barnardsville, NC. Since 2024 we were able to help many families in their recovery efforts. Larry and Josey are one couple we were able to help. Below is their BEFORE testimony story. TODAY in 2026, they are just about to move into a brand new home provided by donations from generous, compassionate people just like you!
