Discipleship Groups

Gather to Grow

What is a d-Group?

D - Groups (discipleship groups) are groups or two - six men or women including the group leader, that gather together regularly for the purpose of spiritual growth.

Groups gather on a regular basis to share life together and even more specifically what they are experiencing with God in their own time spent in prayer and the reading of God's word.  Most groups meet weekly or bi-weekly.

Please note that these groups require a time commitment. Groups usually meet for a set number of months, allowing for each member to become comfortable with the format and lead the group occasionally.  The goal of D-groups is for each member to become more like Christ.
As a part of following the Great Commission, a secondary goal of the D-group is to develop leadership.  After completing a d-group most participants are encouraged to take the next step, which is to lead or co-lead a D-group or ministry.
