Honduras missions information

In partnership with LifeHOPE Ministries, our mission is to make disciples as we strive to reach every man, woman and child in the little village of Vista Hermosa in the nation of Honduras.

Building Project
The foundation for a multipurpose building was completed in July 2017.  The building will be used as feeding station, church and classrooms.

In late 2018, the building was completed with the first children’s classes taking place in early 2019.

In late 2019, finishing touches were made to each building and a multi - stall restroom was installed. The first church service was launched on August 4th.

Feeding Station
Regular meals and good nutrition is important to the growth, development and future of Vista Hermosa. Currently around 200 children are receiving a balanced and nutritious meal 5 days per week.

Donations to help insure that each child who participates is provided with a meal are always needed. For more information on how you can help, please email us at VerticalLife.Newton@gmail.com for more information!

Church Planting
It is our goal to ensure that the gospel continues to go forth as disciples are made in Vista Hermosa. In 2019, a local resident completed seminary becoming a pastor and sharing the gospel consistently to the people of Vista Hermosa through weekly church services, small groups and other discipleship opportunities.

The first biblically based, evangelical church was launched in August of 2019 with Adaly Sandres as pastor.

Although ministry never stopped in the village of Vista Hermosa.  Due to the Covid pandemic, mission teams were unable to go back to Honduras until 2022. Our first team returned to Honduras in July of 2022.
